Thank you for visiting my campaign webpage. The 72nd Assembly District, which includes the communities of Fullerton, Brea, and Placentia along with portions of Anaheim, La Habra, Yorba Linda, and Orange is a district rich in culture and history. It is an honor to represent the 72nd District in the State Assembly. This last year, I have worked closely with Governor Schwarzenegger to move California foward and to further enhance the quality of life in Northern Orange County.

Here are some of the more recent acknowledgements of my work in Sacramento.

• Scored 100% on the Orange County Business Council's Legislative Scorecard, which focuses on issues important to small businesses;
• Scored 100% in voting in accord with the California Chamber of Commerce on 2004 legislation affecting California's businesses;
• Awarded an "A" Grade by Cal-Tax for my perfect scorecard in voting against higher taxes;
• Awarded 100% Rating by the Association of California Water Agencies for her votes on water and local government legislation;
• Awarded "Legislator of the Year" by the League of California Cities;
  
• Selected by the Orange County School Board Association as the 2004 Maureen DiMarco Award recipient for my leadership and commitment to education;
  
• Awarded "Legislator of the Year" by the California School Board Association;
  
• Honored as "Legislator of the Year" by the California County Superintendents Educational Services Association;
• Recognized as "Assemblymember of the Year" by the California Association of Homes and Services for the Aging;
• Awarded "Legislator of the Year" by the Professional Association for Childhood Education (PACE) for my commitment to California's child care community;
• Awarded "Legislator of the Year" for leading the fight to provide funding equity for California's low-wealth schools;
  
• Recognized by the California Senior Legislature for my legislative contributions on behalf of seniors;
• Honored by the California State Special Education Local Plan Areas for my work on behalf of special education and children with exceptional needs;
• Awarded "Hero of the Taxpayers" by Americans for Tax Reform for my staunch opposition to tax hikes.
